AQUA Amazon Soil — Natural Planted Aquarium Substrate (Aquasoil) — Overview

AQUA Amazon Soil is a black, granular aquarium plant substrate (aquasoil) formulated for freshwater planted tanks, tropical fish and dwarf shrimp. The baked granules provide a rich, long-lasting nutrient base for plant roots, help clarify and condition the water, and gently buffer it toward the soft, slightly acidic range that aquatic plants and shrimp prefer (label pH 5.5). It is washing-free — use it straight from the bag — and the firm granules resist breaking down into powder, keeping the water clear. Available in 3 L (≈3 kg) and 9 L (≈9 kg).

How to Use

Add the soil directly to a clean, dry tank (do not rinse) and level to your desired depth. Fill the tank slowly over a plate or bag to avoid disturbing the substrate. As an active soil, expect an initial water-parameter shift and a short cycling period before adding sensitive livestock.

For aquatic use only — not edible; keep away from children. Do not rinse before use (rinsing causes muddy water).
