Full spectrum warm sunlight for a freshwater aquarium. Spectrum close to tropical daylight for natural colors. Sera Tropic Sun Royal provides adequate lighting with sunny, warm daylight in tropical aquariums that resemble rainforests. A lamp with a wide spectrum that conveys the truest reproduction of color. The color temperature (4700K) resembles the soft sunlight in the middle of the tropical morning. The light resemblance index compared to German standards, DIN, is lA (the highest possible) and resembles natural sunlight by 92%. The emission of ultraviolet rays is reduced to 2%. It is limited to UV A and UV In the lobes needed for terrariums resembling swamps and tropical rainforests with inhabitants that need low UV intensity, such as spiders, scorpions and insects. The smooth poisonous frog needs this proportion of ultraviolet light to prevent vitamin deficiency syndromes. Many terrarium animals need UV A and UV B light to synthesize vitamin D in their skin. For the same reasons, Sera Tropic Sun Royal is suitable for lighting bird cages. Please note: The service life of aquarium lamps is 12 months. The spectrum of the lamp gradually changes and after this period it can no longer function as an aquarium lamp with the appropriate purpose. For best results, replace aquarium lamps every 12 months.
