Herbal water conditioner for ornamental fish against Ichthyophthirius multifiliis and other single celled skin parasites The herbal water conditioner sera Phyto med Protazid contains highly effective quinine (as hydrochloride) obtained from cinchona bark, as an agent. The water conditioner can be used for treating white spot disease on freshwater and marine fish, and against other single celled skin parasites such as Ichthyobodo sp., Chilodonella sp. or Piscinoodinium pillulare in freshwater. Ornamental fish in marine water suffering from velvet disease can also be treated successfully with sera Phyto med Protazid. sera Phyto med Protazid is very well tolerated by ornamental fish in fresh and marine water. However, the water treatment is not tolerated by invertebrates and algae. Treat the ill fish in a quarantine tank, if applicable.
